The Futur-K 6AM adjustable stock was born with the very purpose of conforming to the physiognomy and the needs of each shooter, characteristic that makes it ideal for the different disciplines of clay pigeon shooting: Olympic pit, double trap, universal trench, skeet, compak and sporting.
Behind the design of this specific device is the 20-year experience of Futurmec, a company specialized in precision mechanics, composed of 36 continuously trained employees, that make and assemble mechanical parts for several fields of application. All of this, together with careful management make Futurmec a reliable and competitive reality also in the world of adjustable rifle stocks.
Let’s see the Futur-K 6AM in detail… Thanks to the technology employed, besides facilitating the action of shooting, it remarkably reduces the tiredness through the absorption of the recoil and of the vibrations generated by the first shot that, in case they were excessive, could compromise the results of the second shot. But how does the reduction of the recoil work?
The reduction of the recoil
The Futur-K 6AM shotgun stock is equipped with 5 dampening elements, that aim at reducing the effects of the recoil of the shotgun, by increasing at most the comfort of the shooter.
Among these dampening elements, the main are some elastomeric rubbers of different hardness (hardness measured in Shore), that can be installed inside the rifle stock with the aim of absorbing, depending on the needs of the users, the power generated during the action of shooting.
This shotgun stock has been made after several company and field tests: to validate even more the efficacy of the recoil-dampening system, a scientific collaboration has been started since 2023 with the aim of showing the positive effects of the use of the stock on the shooter’s body.
Through quantitative field tests on different athletes and qualitative evaluations, it was possible to demonstrate efficacy of the Futur-K 6AM stock with regard to the classical stocks in wood, in terms of the reduction of the soreness and tiredness felt by those who were involved in the research.
