RSR01 Regulator Caliper
The RSR01 (Rifle Stock Regulator 01) is a tool specifically designed to assist you in the optimal adjustment of all movable parts of the FUTUR-K6AM system: cheekpiece height, pitch, buttplate translations and rotations, etc.
Assisted setting of your personal parameters
With the RSR01 caliper, you can map your optimal adjustment settings in terms of comfort and shooting position and build a record of your personal parameters. Setting up the FUTUR-K6AM stock for the discipline you practice will become easier, allowing you to adjust all movable parts, making modifications and corrections to always maintain a perfect feel with your firearm.
1. Pitch adjustment
By positioning the transparent rear panel so that it is parallel to the buttplate frame, you can read, on the side fan protractor, the stock angle relative to the shooting line (pitch).
2. Rotation and deviation adjustment of the buttplate
By looking at the back of the shotgun through the transparent panel as shown, you can detect both the lateral deviation relative to the rib axis and the rotation angle between the two longitudinal symmetry planes: that of the firearm and that of the buttplate.
3. Cheekpiece and cheek rest height adjustment
Using the horizontally sliding cursor and the vertically sliding probe, you can measure the position of the cheekpiece relative to the rib; from the tip (the highest point of the cheekpiece) to the base (the lowest point). Moving the cursor similarly allows you to measure the height of the buttplate, always referenced to the rib level. The horizontal graduated scale serves as a horizontal reference for the probe position when measuring vertical heights.
4. Positioning the caliper on different rib widths
The caliper can be used for ribs of both 10 mm and 11 mm width by simply attaching the rod (which contains the magnetic supports) to the body in the two possible positions rotated by 180°. The magnetic supports have rails 10 mm and 11 mm wide respectively.
